Lif’s ethical rules for dialogue and negotiations with decision-makers Dialogue and negotiations with politicians and authorities is a natural and integrated part of the pharmaceutical industry’s communication with the surroundings. Lif is of the opinion that all the pharmaceutical industry’s cooperation and communication activities – also the activities regarding dialogue and negotiations with authorities and politicians must be transparent. Therefore Lif’s members have obliged themselves through an ethical code to ensure independence and openness in the communication with the politicians and the authorities. Danish Medical Association (LF), Danish Pharmaceutical Association (DA), Danish Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry (Lif), Danish Generic Medicines Industry Association (IGL), Parallel Importers of Pharmaceuticals (PI) Heads of agreement for terms and conditions for collaboration between doctors and pharmacists and pharmacies This agreement relates to collaboration between doctors and pharmacists and pharmaceutical companies (the parties) for the provision and sponsorship of professional continuity training and advertising activities by pharmaceutical companies with respect to doctors and pharmacists. The agreement further relates to collaboration between pharmacists and pharmaceutical companies on advertising activities and healthcare arrangements/activities aimed at the general public.

The Danish Medical Association The Danish Medical Association and the pharmaceutical industry have agreed on a cooperation agreement on clinical drug trials. The parties have entered into the agreement in order to ensure that the cooperation on clinical drug trials will be conducted in such a way that there is no doubt about the independence of the parties. The agreement was revised on February 8, 2006.
